The key to building muscle is not always about the weight.  Here are 3 tips to help you grow and achieve muscle development.

1. FORM- OMG you must have proper form its vital and the most important factor to training.

2. MIND-MUSCLE CONNECTION- when you achieve total mind-muscle connection you will start to see major changes in your body.  its not about lifting weights its about using the mind and the muscle to build muscle.  when you have reached this level you can take the smallest weight and make it burn and work your muscle to the fullest.

3. WEIGHT- yes I train heavy because I have mastered the 2 above.  dont put weight first you will set yourself up for failure.  you must get 1 and 2 down to build muscle then you can start to increase weight.  you must have muscle to support the weights you use otherwise you are just working connective tissue, assisting muscles and tendons. dont fall prey to the "weight trap" it will come with time!
